Although I didn't get to meet Steve, my sister Pip told me about his time in the RAF and what a loverly person he was. From one RAF veteran to another Per Ardua Ad Astra, Steve may you rest in peace. XXX

Although we only saw him a few times in the past few years uncle Derek was always in our thoughts. He was a lovely, kind man who made us feel special when we were kids.
He will be missed. RIP Uncle.
